Day 1: January Journal Challenge

Happy New Year! It is the year 2023 and I am so excited for new opportunities, new learnings, new experiences!

I am going to take part in the January Journal Challenge. I did say that I wanted to blog more so this challenge really came at the right time. So here it goes...

Summarise last year in one word.

December Musings

For the past fifteen minutes, I have been scrolling through my blog and realised a few things:

1. I only wrote two actual blog posts in 2022 and the rest are filler posts from my Goodreads updates;

2. I urgently need to get back into reading if I want to accomplish my 15 books in 2022 Goodreads Reading Challenge;

3. I am a kind and conscientious person - even through the hard times.

If there's one thing I want to improve on in 2023, that would be to blog more. To write more. Yes, life is busy. Yet I know my future self will thank me for documenting experiences which I may not be able to recall easily in the future. It would be nice to have something to look back to and appreciate my beautiful life that isn't perfect but is a blessing from God.

I am grateful for 2022. I feel that I have grown a lot this year. I am proud of how I have matured and learned how to be happy to be me. Life is too short to feel otherwise. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for your blanket of protection. Thank You for our family and friends. Thank You for being my friend. I love You dearly.

Love,

R
