It's only Thursday yet I'm feeling extra happy the more I think about the weekend :)
I haven't even got anything planned - haha! Now that I think about it, I usually spend my weekends pondering about nothing in particular, doing nothing in particular, and simply enjoying the little bits of freedom from work and responsibilities.
I love the weekends. I love quiet time. I love giving myself the opportunity to get away from it all. Last week I spent the weekend chilling at home, running some errands, watching movies, and getting that much-needed haircut. This weekend I plan on visiting this lovely vintage tea room near our flat. I hope it won't disappoint!
As much as I would love to shop for new teas, I am trying to resist the temptation as I still have a lot more to go through (see previous entry on 17th January). I came across the Teapigs modern matcha kit today while I was browsing the web. It looked pretty cool and I had this sudden need to purchase it although it cost a whopping £35 (the kit includes the aerolatte, a shot glass, and the matcha powder). Good thing that 'need' only lasted a few minutes and then I was over it! Haha! :) I was just thinking that in case I mess up while using the kit, I didn't want it to put me off from drinking matcha tea latte from other places :p I guess I'll go to Starbucks or something to satisfy my craving. Too bad they don't serve it at Bon Tea Room in Corstorphine, which is the very place I'm thinking of trying this Saturday.
Oh weekend, come closer please! I'd like to continue reading my book as well. This time I'm reading Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I've finished reading a graphic novel called The Night Bookmobile by Audrey Niffeneger. It's really good. I plan on borrowing more graphic novels from the library soon.
So glad it's Friday tomorrow! Yay!
